The School of Information Sciences utilizes several advisory boards to guide the direction of our degree programs and our research efforts. These boards are comprised of experts from a number of disciplines and industries represented by the Information Sciences.

SIS Council

The School is governed by a group of elected members from the faculty, staff, and students. The SIS Council is responsible for guiding the development of degree programs; for providing faculty and staff with an environment that is conducive to teaching and research; and a community for students that will foster them as their pursue their chosen academic paths.
