Industrial Advisory Council

The iSchool hosts a Telecommunications Industry Advisory Council, a group of industry experts who will provide advice on the curriculum, research and the overall direction of the Telecommunications discipline. These experts bring a "real-world" perspective to our program's evolution. 

The industry representatives include:

• Sujata Banerjee, R & D Project Manager and Principal Research Scientist, Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, Palo Alto, CA
• Eric Dunmire, Senior Manager of Network Engineering, Consolidated Communications MST Alumni
• William Garrett, Director Mass Market Technology, Verizon, Boston, MA
• Ravi Jain, Senior Member of Technical Staff, Google, Mountain View, CA
• Tom Sands, VP Engineering, ECI
• Dennis Smith, Head of Advanced Engineering, Bank NYMellon
• Vincent (Joe) Trost, Director Software Engineering, Ericsson, MST Alum

Working with faculty and administrators at the School, this group will help to ensure that the Telecommunications and Networking curriculum and laboratories are keeping up with an ever-evolving technology.
