iSchool welcomes 400+ new students for Fall 2012

The iSchool faculty, staff and returning students are very excited to extend a warm welcome to the new students joining us for Fall 2012. More than new 400 undergraduate and graduate students will be enrolling at the iSchool in the various degree programs: Bachelor of Science in Information Science, Library and Information Science, Graduate Information Science and Technology, and Telecommunications and Networking. There have been 11 scholars accepted into the various PhD programs; 240 students to be enrolled in the Master’s programs; and 151 students in the Bachelor’s program. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds and regions including 21 different countries: the United States, Afghanistan, Canada, Ghana, China, Iran, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia, Taiwan, Thailand, and the United Kingdom. Those students from the United States represent more than 27 states. Welcome to the new students!
