International Corporation seeks interns from the BSIS Program
PPG, headquartered in Pittsburgh, is a global supplier of paints, coatings, optical products, specialty materials, chemicals, glass and fiber glass. In 2008, PPG sales worldwide were $15.8 billion and the multinational corporation employed more than 42,000 people. The company has more than 140 manufacturing facilities and equity affiliates and operates in more than 60 countries around the globe.
Undergraduate students can learn more about PPG and it’s Internship Program on Friday, September 16, 2011. Representatives from the company will meet with interested students at 12:00 noon in Rooms 501 and 522 IS Building (135 North Bellefield Avenue).
PPG is seeking undergraduate interns who want to gain real-world experience in the IT arena and a paid summer experience. Applicants should be US citizens or have the right to work in the US on a permanent basis, have completed the sophomore year by the beginning of the internship, and maintain a 2.8 GPA.
