Marci B. Carothers has been appointed Director of Constituent Relations for the School of Information Sciences. Marci’s responsibilities include advancing alumni relations and development programs and working with the Dean on key initiatives. Prior to joining the team at Pitt, Marci worked at Emory University as an Assistant Director of Regional Programs. She managed and assisted alumni volunteers in 12 major cities in the planning and implementation of programs that strengthened relations with the University. These programs included social and cultural events, lectures, community service projects, and networking opportunities. Marci began her career at Bryn Mawr College as the Director of the Parents Fund & Associate Director of Annual Giving.
