The iSchool hosts i-fest to showcase and celebrate the Information Sciences. This year, more than 200 people attended the i-fest events here at the iSchool. We had the annual i-fest luncheon with a fascinating presentation by iSchool alum Thomas Reinsel. The Amazing Information Race challenged you to search and retrieve, plus decorate a cupcake!
The first annual Poker Night lasted well into the next day and was a huge hit. On Friday, 20 students exhibited their research projects and helped us all to understand the breadth of work being done here at the iSchool. Although many of the events were just for fun, they all provided an opportunity to learn more about the iSchool, the degree programs and the amazingly-diverse community.
