10:00 am to 3:00 pm, Towers Lobby
Drop by the Towers Lobby and see how SIS brings people, information, and technology together. Demonstrations, technology games, and more!

SIS Student Expo
10:00 am to 3:00 pm, Towers Lobby
Explore the Information Sciences with your fellow students! Posters and system demonstrations, created by current students and reviewed by a panel of faculty members, on display in the Towers Lobby during the IS Showcase.

The SIS Fantastic, Amazing, Great Race
Time: 10:00 am, IS Building
Based on America’s most-watched reality TV show!  Your team of two intrepid explorers will head off to adventures throughout the city. You will use technology to win each leg of the race to get the clue to the next location.

i-fest.pitt.edu Colloquium
Time: 4 pm, Room 405, IS Building
Dr. Chaim Zins will discuss his recent research on the "Information Science Knowledge Map," a study of theoretical foundations of information science. Dr. Zins is a Professor in the Department of Information Science at Bar-Ilan University, Israel.
