SIS Ph.D. student wins ALA Award

 
     
     
  photo of Doughee SinnCongratulation to Donghee Sinn, a Ph.D. student in our Department of Library and Information Sciences who won the 2005 Jesse H. Shera Award for Support of Dissertation Research, for "Records and the Understanding of Violent Events: Archival Documentation, Historical Perception, and the No Gun Ri Massacre in the Korean War." Ms. Sinn will receive a prize of $500 for the paper. The award will be presented during the American Library Association's Annual Conference in Chicago at the LRRT Graduate Student Forum on Sunday, June 26, 2005.
