CaveUTCaveUT won fifth place in the Educational category of the "Make Something Unreal Contest" sponsored by NVIDIA and Epic Games. The School of Information Sciences will receive five high-end graphics PCs for use in the Virtual Theatre (VT) at SIS, shown in this image from the winning entry. CaveUT is open-source freeware for Virtual Reality research, based on Epic's "Unreal" graphics engine. Our people working with CaveUT are Jeffrey Jacobson (ULab) and Sean Ellis and Matthew Kelley (VISC).
