Library Access

Accessing full text from remote locations

Information on accessing library materials from remote locations is provided by the University Library System. To access this information click on the following link:  http://www.library.pitt.edu/services/remote.html.

LOCATING JOURNAL ARTICLES

If you find a journal or book that is on campus, you can request it using the interlibrary loan request. Please note that you are a online MLIS student.

LOCATING BOOKS

What we cannot do: If you find that you need a book that PITT does not own, we can't get that for you via Interlibrary Loan. Your best option for these is to ask your local library if you can establish borrowing privileges.

** Please note that sometimes the storage request feature does not work correctly, and you get an error message. If this occurs, make an email request via Askalibrarian@pitt.edu.

Happy Endings!

Since its inception in 2000, more than 400 online students have graduated from the MLIS program.
