On-Campus Experience
For online MLIS students, an on-campus experience will be held each Fall and Spring term.
MLIS online students entering prior to Fall 2012 will be required to attend the scheduled MLIS FastTrack/Pitt Online weekends. Course and activity schedules will be communicated through CourseWeb.
MLIS online students entering in Fall 2012 or later are encouraged to attend the MLIS FastTrack/Pitt Online weekends but are not required to do so.
MLIS Online students entering in Fall 2012 or later are strongly encouraged to attend the iSchool New Student Orientation offered prior to the start of Fall classes or the first MLIS FastTrack/Pitt Online weekend.
MLIS Students wishing to participate in an on-campus experience but whose schedules do not allow them to participate during scheduled events may contact the Director of Distance Education at jrlawson@pitt.edu.
