Based on the challenges and thrills on America’s most-watched reality tv show, SIS has created “The Fantastic Amazing Great Race.”  Your team, comprised of two intrepid explorers, will take off from the IS Building and head off to adventures throughout the City of Pittsburgh.  You won’t know in advance where you’re going – you’ll have to win each leg of the race to get the clue to the next location.  You’ll have technology as your secret weapon! The Mother Goose Poetry Slam    
Simply put, slam is the competitive art of performance poetry. Established in the mid-80s as a means to heighten public interest in poetry readings, slam has evolved into an international art form emphasizing audience involvement and poetic excellence! Given that the theme of the i-fest.pitt.edu slam is Mother Goose, this promises to be a wild afternoon of performance poetry!  Prizes for the most creative!
