School of Information Sciences - Undergraduate Program

Undergraduate faculty

The School of Information Sciences draws its faculty from a variety of disciplines: business, policy, information science, computer science, computer engineering, psychology, mathematics, electrical engineering, physics, and software engineering, among others. This diversity in faculty education and research interests results in a richer experience for students. The school encourages faculty members to incorporate their research into the classroom experience. You will have the opportunity to learn about leading-edge research in areas such as information access, information assurance, human-computer interaction, information visualization, database design and management, and cognitive science.

The Whole Process

While many other schools emphasize technology, the iSchool is concerned with the whole process—information architecture, navigation, and management.
